Petunia Festival Parade

Rock River United hit the streets of Dixon, IL on July 5, 2026 for the Petunia Festival Parade. With jumbo-sized basketballs flying through the air and Vance on the balloonmobile the RRU Team ignited excitement from their #70 position near the end of the parade lineup. The crowd came alive as the teenagers moved down the street interacting with the crowd and getting people to try to make baskets. Bringing up the rear, the Bobcat mascot greeted the crowd with waves and hi-fives. The RRU parade display finished with a banner thanking all of our sponsors whose generous support makes youth sports possible throughout the Sauk Valley area. The may have been the 70th entry and near the end of the parade lineup but the RRU team took 1st for Best Float at the 2026 Petunia Festival Parade! Way to go BOBCATS!

Rock River United Fall Sports Sign Ups Are Open

RRU Sports Director has sent out the call for athletes to register for Fall Sports. If you have an athlete who wants to participate, please sign them up as soon as possible.

Rock River United offers sports programs for incoming 7th - 12th* grade students.

Rock River United helps Christian students to excel in athletics
while growing in relationships with Jesus, family, and friends.

Our purpose is to support our athletes
as they follow Jesus Christ
and to provide Christian athletes
an avenue to glorify God on and off the court or field.

*Trap shooting is also open to 6th grade students.

Congratulations to our Lady Bobcats!

Rock River United Lady Bobcats were the Consolation Bracket Winners at the GNC Tournament. Well done RRU ladies and their coaches!
